Billed as the world’s most ultra-luxurious resort, Atlantis The Royal, Dubai, on the crescent of the Palm Jumeirah, opened its doors to select guests this January. The invitation-only weekend witnessed 28 times Grammy winner Beyonce entertaining guests, with A-list celebs joining in the celebrations along with VIPs and the press. The most high-profile invitees to this grand opening were Jay-Z, Liam Payne, TV stars Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright, Marvin and Rochelle Humes, Kendall Jenner, Amir Khan, Ronan Keating, Hugo Taylor, and Millie Mackintosh. The celebrations also featured Swedish House Mafia followed by a huge firework display and dinners prepared by world-renowned chefs Mich Turner, Nobu Matsuhisa, and Jose Andres. This luxury beach resort & hotel in Dubai is slated to officially open its doors on February 10, 2023.

A royal touch
Spanning over 40 hectares, the uber-cool hotel is 500 meters long and extends 178 meters and 43 stories upwards. It features innumerable restaurants, bars, other hospitality venues, and about 90 swimming pools, if not more. The distinctive facade of the hotel consists of six towers, shaped like stacks of individual blocks, unevenly placed over each other, portraying an eclectic arrangement. These blocks are connected by a 90 X 33-meter sky bridge.
