Christie and I recently had the privilege of indulging in a luxurious getaway at Live Aqua Private Residences in Los Cabos, Mexico. As soon as we stepped foot in this tranquil haven, we were blown away by the exceptional customer service and attention to detail. We were greeted with warm smiles and refreshing welcome drinks the moment we arrived. The check-in process was seamless, and we were each given wristbands that gave us full access to the whole resort, including their sister property, Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos.
Unwind in Luxury: The Magnificent Rental with Private Pool and Sea Views
During our trip, we decided to book a gorgeous luxury rental property with four large bedrooms that could easily accommodate our group of 12 in utmost comfort. The two master bedrooms, each including a king-size bed, were equipped with opulent ensuite bathrooms with a rain shower and a separate soaking tub. On the other hand, the two additional bedrooms contained two double beds and two additional bathrooms.
The vacation rental property had the most up-to-date conveniences and furnishings, such as a kitchen fully stocked with appliances, a sizable dining area, a comfortable living room, Smart TVs, a minibar, and a Nespresso coffee maker.
The gorgeous patio, which included both a private pool and a jacuzzi and overlooked the turquoise seas of the Sea of Cortez, was, without a doubt, the standout feature of the vacation rental property.
Delight Your Senses: Gourmet Cuisine, Cocktails, and World-Class Golf
As food lovers, we were thrilled to learn that the MAI restaurant serves an outstanding selection of gourmet cuisine and that the Sky Bar and Pool Bar provide an extensive selection of elaborate cocktails and sophisticated drinks. In addition, the resort provided room service around the clock and the opportunity to hire a personal chef who would attend to our gastronomic desires.
The resort is ideal for golf enthusiasts. It features two courses of the highest caliber, including one located directly on the beach, and was developed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus. Many options are available for people who would rather lie around and soak up the sun, such as lounging by the pool on your terrace, swimming in the resort pool, or sitting on the private oceanfront while listening to the relaxing sound of the waves.
Double the Fun: Explore Two Luxurious Resorts in Los Cabos
The resort’s sister property, the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, is practically our neighbor – only two minutes away! We loved wandering through the breathtaking scenery, taking in the stunning surroundings. And when we weren’t in the mood to walk, we hopped on the resort’s 24-hour cart service for a fun ride to our destination.
At the Somma spa, the only spa in Mexico that incorporates the healing benefits of wine in its treatments, we were pampered with luxurious treatments that helped us relax and unwind. They have 15 treatment rooms, a gym with a view of the ocean, wet and dry saunas, and a wine and juice bar.
In addition, guests can choose from several restaurants and bars on the premises, offering anything from buffets to five-star dining experiences.

The meticulous attention to detail, evident in everything from the most fundamental aspects to the minutest of nuances, was the aspect of Living Aqua Private Residences that most struck us. Every single staff member that we interacted with was kind and welcoming. They always greeted us with a smile and ensured that we had everything required to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The experience we had at Live Aqua Private Residences far surpassed all of our expectations, and during our stay there, we had the distinct impression that we were staying in our own homes. It is safe to say that we will return to this stunning resort in the future to once again bask in its splendor and tranquility.
